Description
Traditional Volksfest at the foot of Dachau's old town, about 20 minutes from Munich by S-Bahn. Five festival tents, carnival rides (Ferris wheel, bumper cars, kids' rides), a parade, a bike race and fireworks (planned ~21:30 on 13 Aug, backup 16 Aug). The festival also runs a Family Day with discounted rides, a Children's Day, a Senior Afternoon (10 Aug), and a dedicated low-sensory session — see separate listing for the Reizarme Wiesn on 11 Aug.
