What to expect: Large loud march with sound trucks/music, very dense crowds along the route and on Schlossplatz/Schillerplatz, high visual stimulation (costumes, flags, confetti), open-air disco with heavy bass in the evening.
Exit options: The parade route and squares have street exits along the whole way; standing further back from the trucks/stage or watching from a side street reduces intensity considerably, and you can leave the Hocketse area at any point without crossing barriers.
