Spectacular gorge walk through the Partnachklamm, then optional climb (or cable car) to Eckbauer for a Wetterstein/Zugspitze panorama. The gorge alone is worth the day. (~6–10 km depending on whether you climb to Eckbauer or just do the gorge)

Exit plan
Gorge-only is an easy out-and-back from the stadium. To skip the climb to Eckbauer: take the Eckbauerbahn up, walk down (or vice versa). Cable car gives you the option to abort the climb at any time.
